WIC or the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children program provides federal grants to states so they can provide supplemental food vouchers, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant or breastfeeding women and infants and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk, or the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
